YUJIN started electronic sound project "BPMs" in Los Angeles in 2012. The BPM of music affects humans both physiologically and emotionally, causing changes in the body as well as the subconscious. YUJIN moved to London in 2015 to pursue further research on the use of BPM in dance music. In 2019, YUJIN discovered and was immediately fascinated by the powerful impact of 138 BPM in Berlin. In underground clubs, people danced continuously from Thursday night to Tuesday morning, propelled by a non-stop stream of Hardcore Techno--all at this same BPM. After the global pandemic began, YUJIN started an Acid Techno project to rally against COVID-19. In 2021, YUJIN enlisted Sunrise Transparence to record brass for a new track at 138 BPM; the resultant creation premieres here as single Sound Vaccine "ACID-19".
